Course Description:
Explores the disciplines that comprise the social studies core. Students will study a variety of methodologies and materials and have opportunities to plan, teach and evaluate social studies lessons, employ effective teaching strategies and integrate technology and differentiated resources.
Course objective:
We will engage in the study of Social Studies Education
by planning, analyzing, reflecting, activating
so that we build our knowledge and skill in pedagogy and content
because we must be certain we can plan effective, impactful learning for students.
