Goals of Practica
Practica experiences are an integral component of FNP education. It is within the practice setting that students transfer their didactic knowledge into practice, and, supplement their didactic knowledge with new learning experiences. Students should progress through each practicum course, building competencies and gaining new competencies in preparation for functioning as a novice, but competent primary care FNP upon graduation.
